- Geology training and professional licensing /expertise for energy and environmental work.
- Program/Project Management to oversee processes and projects.
- Field work experience in various weather conditions, environmental/geological settings, and with diverse teams in achieving good quality data collection, analysis, reporting to regulatory agencies.
- Exploration for oil and gas, mineral resources, water resources using geophysical tools and satellite data.
- Oversight of drilling subcontractors, sampling crews, geophysical crews, surveying crews primarily in the Southeast USA, and in Hawaii, Spain, Pacific Northwest, and Appalachians.
- Provide scientific understanding of the interactions of water, soils, air, and sun in natural settings. (For example: conceptual models).
- Technology knowledge and experience managing hardware/software teams and product development teams.
- Identification and prioritization of energy-environmental resources and/or stakeholder issues.
- Facilitating the exchange of information and communications between various stakeholder groups.
